Astros switching divisions?
I recently read on yahoo sports that bud selig is proposing a division reallignment that would put 15 teams in each league. Since right now there are 16 teams in the national league and 14 teams in the american league.. The odd team out would be the houston astros. They would be moved to the american league west and put into the same division as the Texas Rangers. It goes on to say the top 5 teams in each league would make the playoffs. I don't mind the new format, but I thought it was odd to move the Astros. I'm from Houston, and despite the awfulness that is the Astros.. The Last-ros... The Half-asstros.. I'm still a fan. And even though it would be cool at first to see some AL teams come to town.. I don't think the Astros are the best choice. In my opinion, it should be the Brewers. They are selig's team, he moved them before, and if he wants to make a change, why not move his 'baby' back to the american league. And it just seems odd to put both Texas teams in the same division. Any other thoughts on this?
